Here’s another one that I got via email. Don’t know originally where it came from, but here you are.

I wasn’t optimistic. I knew I wanted Obama to win, but I was afraid that we’d get more Republican “don’t worry, we rigged it” shenanigans. Imagine my surprise, bordering on confusion, when McCain got up and gave a concession speech. WTF? Isn’t he supposed to say that the fat lady ain’t sung yet and he’s going to fight all the way to the Supreme Court and all that? Isn’t he supposed to look like he did on all the TV news shows up to this point? Creepy and cantankerous? Hmmmm…. It was a good speech too. I was at Coopers watching with friends, and the whole bar was applauding his speech.

And then Obama came on the TV and the whole place went apeshit. More applause. More drinks. And it was all over, just like that! I didn’t WANT there to be strife and discontent, but it just seemed to be over too quick.

Oh well…at least there’s new blood in the White House now. Or should we call it the Black House? I’m down with that.
