I looked at the date somewhere recently and it struck me that 2008 is 25% over already! And I thought, well geez what all has happened?

Here’s what has happened so far:

• I got sick twice in January, and got mostly over it just in time to
• Go on a trip to Egypt where I saw the most incredible sights ever
• Then I came back and got sick again
• A week or two later, my best friend died, so I went up to Juneau for the memorial
• I got food poisoning before leaving Juneau
• And 48 hrs after getting over food poisoning, I got the damn flu!

Variety is the spice of life? Bullshit, give me bland and boring, thank you. I just want to ride my bike, that’s all. Until then, though, here’s another random Egypt picture. Ram-headed sphinxes from the Avenue of the Sphinxes at Karnak Temple near Luxor.
