The glacier is still there, like a some HUGE paperweight, keeping the Northern Hemisphere firmly in place on top of the Equator.

This place rains like a SONOFABITCH when it wants to, which is fine, cuz I haven’t smelled anything so fresh and clean in a long time.

Cinco de Mayo party last night. Didn’t know a lot of people there, but I did know a lot of other people there. It’s weird to see people that you haven’t seen since highschool in a party atmosphere. Nobody is doing keg-stands. The food doesn’t come in grease-saturated bags and the only drinking straws are the ones that were bought at the store specifically for Adults and Adult Drinks. Speaking of ‘adults’…

I’m walking around here, and I’m seeing people who are obviously responsible adult-types. They have that look to them, which is different than just having kids orbiting around them. So in my immature mind, I’m thinking “there’s an adult”, only to get closer and realize that I only recognize them well enough to know that they’re 5 years younger than I am. WHOA.

Still no USB cable, cuz the mall was closed when we got there.

so I’m not gonna. Let’s just say that I’m up in AK, it’s raining like a sonofabitch, and I forgot to bring the cable that connects my phone to my computer. NICE!

I did, however, bring my boots, a warm hat and a waterproof jacket.

I’ll post again after I hit up RadioShack for a USB cable or if something crazy happens (probably fueled by AK Amber or Rainier).

Oh yeah, and while I’m at it (not posting, that is), I remember having talked to friends of mine about the sketchy landing that planes have to make when landing at the local airport. 737 flies just over the treetops and then has to make a last-minute course change before touching down and slamming on the brakes. Well, I filmed it with my camera, so I’ll have to show you folks when I get back just in time for Bike To Work Day.
